VILLA ISABELLA

The villa was built incorporating the tower from 1200. Villa Isabella together with the whole estate belonged over the centuries to several Fiorentine families, such as Pitti and the Medici. Towards the middle of 1500, the current main building was rebuilt and expanded on the ruins of the ancient castle (of which today only the tower remained). During the nineteenth century, the English landscape architect Cecil Pincent, transformed the romantic nineteenth century park into a national garden, inspired by the fashion of those years.

Situated a few kilometers from Bagno a Ripoli (8kilometers/5miles), 12kilometers/8miles from Florence, in the area of Chianti classic, Isabella is a historical residence consisting of the villa, the tower, a romantic park and a French garden with a large infinity pool with views of the lovely Chianti hills.

Your days can be spent close by exploring the amazing grounds of the villa, the Renaissance town of Bagno a Rapoli and Florence , both easily accessible with public transport. Additionally the villa comes with a concierge service so each guest can plan their activities with the concierge as they wish. Rachael Paolucci is at your service to help you plan. She can arrange excursions to museums, vineyards, other towns and more. She will help you plan transportation; whether you wish to rent a car, hire a driver, or use nearby buses, or trains from Florence.

The villa will accommodate 14 guests, in seven ensuite rooms.
